Thread: Ideal rope chain size for men?

What do y’all think is the ideal rope chain size in mm for men? I liked the 2.25 mm I tried on, but don’t want it to appear too thin.

Most chain lengths are chosen for men typically fall at the collar bone, which is usually around 20 inches in length. If the necklace includes a medallion, cross, or dog tag, a slightly longer length is suggested. Multiple chains of varying lengths may be worn for a layered look.
