Thread: problems with USB flash drives

I am having problems with USB flash drives and need help.

I've been using two USB flash drives, different brands, 32GB each, both formatted to ExFat, one with music in MP3, the other with music in FLAC, and… they both work in an erratic way, both with the same issue.

Copied the music to the pen drives in a Windows 10 computer, organized in folders by artist, one drive with about 10 folders, the other with about 30 folders, and when I plug the flash drives in the car it does not read all off the folders, it misses one folder in both pen drive.

Yes, I had such problems, and until the end, it seemed that the USBs were not of high quality and were not compatible with the Media system of my car. Try either restarting the car or using other USB flash drives. So that's not a big deal. Stay calm. Worse in my case was that I had big problems with the computer until I found a suitable USB flash. I accidentally restarted the SSD, and all the information on it was deleted, and all the music was deleted. So I had to make a hard drive data recovery and then listen to music in the car.
