Thread: GOLDQUESTS under DOS attack

I just got this e-mail from Rich at his Safe-mail account.

Hello , we are under DOSS attack. Please get word to anyone you know who may be in GoldQuests. I don't have access to my mail client or forum to tell anyone so I will e-mail the few addresses I have in this mailbox. If you are a member of any forums or message boards I would appreciate your help as I don't know of to many :-) I have others also helping.

Don't worry at this time as all will be well.

Below is the hosting company message;



Bad news - the attack has migrated from .238 to .236 (meaning it's a DNS-based attack on the domain name). We'll have to block it altogether and sit it out. Hang in there.

Part of the problem may be coming from here. It seems every time I click on a post or click back or forward in my browser window I get "connecting to goldquests.net" in the bottom left bar.
It will say "Done" if you let it run its course but the GoldQuests site does not appear.

I just click the stop button to stop it trying to connect, but my next click on a post will try to do it all over again.

Don't know if it is some sort of bug, but it doesn't happen to me anywhere else on the net. Might be something to look into.

Sure glad to hear its just a ddos attack... thought they left after just a couple of weeks... whew.

Lots of paid posts around from last night, looks like GQ paying even during dos attack!
