Thread: Things to look for in a forex broker

There are many forex brokers out there. When looking for a broker I generally search for things like

-Country the broker's regulated by

- Does the broker offer micro accounts?(for platform testing)

- Does the broker have 24/7 customer service(any broker worth their salt does)

- Does the broker offer news feeds(any quality broker does)

- Does the broker have new trader sign up bonuses?

There are even more but those are the main ones.

Which broker do you use? What do you look for in a broker?

I like to add:

1. No. of currencies pair they are providing?
2. Past reputation and clients response
3. Monthly returns

Those are also factors to consider, especially past performance and client response.

For me would be excellent customer support and overall clients' feedback.

In my investing trading career my broker has played crucial role. It has refined my strategies by their daily FX updates, user friendly system and also provided assistance to all my grievances as early as possible. Therefore i count Finexo alot in my successful career as when i started forex trading i didnt knew about basic things like pips, spread etc....

It is also very important to seek a broker who offers segregated accounts.
