-USDJPY ends the week on the lows and below the trendline that originated from the August low. Weakness below 97.75, the 9/18 low and trendline that originates from the June low, would indicate bearish resolution from the 3 month triangle (from June). Holding above 97.75 and trading through 100.60 would indicate bullish resolution.

If the pair breaks the level 1.34990 than bullish movement is expected. And to my mind it is better to buy to the 1.35900 level and the next level will be 1.3648.

The Euro was little-changed after the final revision of October’s Eurozone’s Manufacturing PMI confirmed the flash estimate. The reading increased to 51.3 from 51.1 in September.
While the pickup in the pace of factory sector activity is an encouraging sign for the Eurozone’s recovery, ECB’s Draghi has mentioned that such growth is still fragile. Inconsistency is one of the more worrisome factors at play: performance in Germany drove the increase of the region-wide result but France’s outcomes proved disappointing.

GOLD TECHNICAL ANALYSIS – Prices broke below support at 1318.73, the 23.6% Fibonacci expansion, exposing the 38.2% level at 1292.15. A further push beneath that eyes the 50% Fib at 1270.67. Alternatively, a move back above 1318.73 sees the next major level of resistance at 1361.70, the October 28 swing high.
