Saw some big moves this morning on EUR/USD from 1.4819 to 1.4896, 77 pips profit.

Both the above were caught by my system which gave good entry and exit signals, 173 pips total so far, and the afternoon session is yet to come.

My system is very simple, two moving averages, bollanger bands, Williams %R ans slow stochastic.

I intend to continue demo trading with this system for a while, and will post more details soon.

The system I am working on is not completely my own design, in fact, it it a fairly common setup.
I have altered some of the settings and added some standard, and one not so standard indicator to the chart.
VT Trader software is great for custom indicators and an easy software to use.

I have been using this setup for about 6 weeks, making changes when I felt it was needed and will gladly share it here in a few days.

I still class myself as an amateur and welcome criticism from more experienced traders as there is still a lot to learn.

I know what you mean. I'm also fairly new to the Forex bussines.
But my intentions are not trade for myselfs, because I definetly would blow up my account.
And why would I change a winning team?
If it keeps on working well, I probablly will never be a trader for myselfs

What most people think of as a trading system, I would call a trading strategy. This would consist of eight parts:

1. a market filter
2. set up conditions
3. an entry signal
4. a worst-case stop loss
5. re-entry when it is appropriate
6. profit-taking exits
7. a position sizing algorithm, and
8. you might need multiple systems for different market conditions.
