Hi, that is a good question. I use my debit card with paypal but it is also a credit card. With a debit card that is only money that you have available. It looks like they would want a credit card, which makes it more secure for them.

well yes its possible to verify your paypal account with an international debit card( which is VISA). but your name should be similar in 2 accounts(payapl and on your debit card) and the address also should be similar.

Hi,
I am also international Pay pal member, and I want to add a credit card or debit card,
But after I do that, is it possible to withdraw the money from my Pay pal account using the credit card?
i.e. use the credit card in amazon.com but the money will come from the Pay pal (I will make my credits in the credit card zero) ???
Also should be the credit card or debit card issued from US bank or it can be from another bank?? I live in brazil

Hi,
It seems we can do that "NOT SURE", but we need to check with someone who did it before,
in the pay pal website https://www.paypal.com/*********/
you can see the following lines:-
Send. Receive. Withdraw to a U.S. Bank Account, a card, or via a Check.
Send and receive payments in these countries. Withdraw from your PayPal account to a U.S. bank account or request a check from PayPal. In addition, withdraw to a credit, debit, or prepaid card in countries marked with a (

I have a Business account with PayPal and with that, comes several basic criteria one needs to comply and fulfill with.
There is the "unverified" status and the "Verified" status which most of you should by now be familiar with and what entails from it.
As far as Credit and further support to substantiate your credentials... a Credit card is required that is issued and backed by the core base of where you are located i.e. if you are based in Brazil, your credit card "MUST" originate from a Bank in Brazil, period.
If you had successfully, till today been a PayPal acct holder living in one country, Bank in another and subsequently, Credit or Debit card appears to come from yet another country... that may be fine so long as you don't end up getting involved with conversion and "trying to" withdraw received monies from 3rd parties.
The whole idea is fundamentally, to substantiate your person against the data & details leading both to & from you with 3rd party transactions to track the flow and movement of funds that are either dollar or other related currencies.
I have not experience any negativity since I re-open my original account in 2006 after actually starting with PayPal in 1998 and considering those earlier New Jersey operators as crooks running PayPal... but all that has changed thankfully.

What should I do if I receive money from more than one country?
i.e. I am working as freelancer and I get paid from different persons! does this cause a problem?
