Every day billions of people drink coffee. Coffee is one of the most favorite drinks in the world. Over 500 milliard of coffee cups are drank annually. Coffee is especially popular among people from Germany, Italy, France, Great Britain, Finland, Sweden and Denmark. It is calculated that one person consumes approximately 10 kg of coffee every year. Today people drink coffee everywhere, drink it with pleasure, within reasonable limits and beyond them. Nowadays it becomes more popular to relate oneself to a true coffee connoisseur, that’s to say to people who drink exclusively best sorts of this marvelous drink. The most expensive sort of coffee in the world is called kopi luwak.


Kopi luwak is a sort of coffee which is famous for its specific treatment methods. Commercially this sort of coffee is produced in Philippines, Indonesia and South India.


The process of coffee beans production:


Luwaks (palm civets or musangs) are mammal animals of Viverra bloodline who eat the ripest coffee beans (coffee cherry), digest the pulp surrounding coffee beans, and then egest these coffee beans which are further picked, washed, dried and heat-treated. This sort of coffee acquires such dainty taste due to specific peculiarities of luwaks’ gastric juices. Only these animals’ gastric juice contains civet.


The average price for a cup of kopi Luwak coffee in European cafes is $50.


In Russia the average retail price for 100 grams of kopi luwak is 1700 rubles.


We have our own palm civet farms in Indonesia on the territory of Sumatra.


Today we keep more than 140 individuals of palm civets for kopi luwak production. This amount of palm civets makes it possible to produce nearly 10000 kg of kopi luwak annually. The process of coffee production comprises several phases: first of all coffee cherries are eaten by palm civets, then their defecations are picked, cleaned, dried and packed. After that process readymade coffee beans are sold to different companies which are engaged in production of kopi Luwak coffee.


Every company keeps the technology of coffee beans roasting in strict confidence. Demand for our product is outgrowing supply that’s why we decided to attract investment into our business.
