Somebody correct me if I'm wrong here , but isn't it usually the Tradition of this forum to let Pinetree Champion the Return of a Failed Program ?????

I'm looking forward to the FUTURE debates on if and when Swisscash is going to return after the Governments eveywhere finally get together and shut it down like PIPS.

Pinetree has already said that it just doesn't fit that TB would just take off and he figures that they will be back and that their reason for shutting down makes sense.

As for Swisscash......who cares. As for PIPs...there's more to this than Talkgold or Owen Pratt would care to admit.

I also got the e-mail from Vainikko.

Has anyone clicked on the first link of Vainikko's message? I am not fluent in the language of Estonia, but I do make out the date of the article as being 5 December, 2006; almost a full 2 months in advance of the date on which TroyBank shares were first put on sale!!! Am I reading this right?

As an investor in TroyBank shares, I am hoping for Troy Bank to resume on-line operations very soon, but am not very hopeful at this point.

Estonia Finance Inspection Web Site www.epl.ee/artikkel/365352 had this write up about our Troy Bank.So I had it translated to English so others can read also. Some of these comments have already been answered here on this Forum and other forms in earlier post. Even though most of it is negative I still hold on to the positive anyway so what call me a fool ?

Troy Bank, based in Estonia, promises instant riches to investors by offering up to 960 percent annual profit. The Financial Inspection in Estonia has not given any licences to a financial establishment by that name.

Troy Bank promises to pay 2% interest on investments per work day, making the investment yield an average of 200% per year, writes Postimees.

According to the webpage troybank.com, the bank also gives out loans, is active in charity, issues debit cards, etc.

There is no reference to an establishemnt by the name of Troy Bank in the Business Register. “We are probably dealing with a company that is not registered in Estonia,” said Raul Malmstein, the chairman of the board of the Financial Inspection.

According to Malmstein, it is at the moment unknown whether Troy Bank is at all active in Estonia, regardless of the contact information pointing to Estonia given on the webpage. He added: “I have no idea as to how much real investors' money they might have”.

Eestis baseeruv Troy Bank lubab investeerijad ratsa rikkaks teha, pakkudes aastas kuni 960 protsenti tulu. Finantsinspektsioon sellenimelist finantsasutust Eestis litsenseerinud ei ole.

Investeeringutelt lubab Troy Bank maksta kaks protsenti intressi tööpäevas, seega oleks investeeringu tootlus keskeltläbi 200 protsenti aastas, kirjutab Postimees.
Lisaks annab pank kodulehekülje troybank.com andmeil laene, tegeleb heategevusega, väljastab deebetkaarte jms.

Äriregistrist Troy Banki nimelist ettevõtet ei leia. «Tegu on ilmselt Eestis mitteregistreeritud äriühinguga,» tõdes finantsinspektsiooni juhatuse esimees Raul Malmstein.
Malmsteini sõnul on praegu teadmata, kas Troy Bank üldse Eestis tegutseb, vaatamata kodulehel antud Eestile viitavale kontaktinfole. «Ei oska ka kommenteerida, palju seal reaalselt investorite raha võib olla,» lisas ta.

    Default Troybank's registration.

TB has never indicated that they were registered in Estonia. They did, however, indicate they were reistered in the Grand Caymans.
