Thread: Check request on Access Bank mobile app: A futile exercise

In case you were not aware, by the end of 2020, old checks will not be honored again, as a design for new checks have been approved by CBN.

Now, coming to Access Bank, they claim you can order for checks on your new Access Bank mobile app. Well, I did that a few months ago, choosing the branch where I opened my current account as the point of collection.

When I later got to the bank a few months later, nothing had been done. The customer support desk checked my account and said no check was issued for me. I had to apply for it in the bank there.

Lesson: Ordering checks thru Access Bank mobile app is a waste of time. If you need checks, go to their branch, especially where you opened your account. Then apply for it at a customers support desk and then go back after one week, to collect your checks.
