I am a student of computer field, I use to play and download games through internet. After downloading games I found that the games do not work properly and also the system. Is this due to a virus? So, is there any idea to download games and other things without any virus?

I think you must buy an antivirus for your system which will help you to get rid of virus and other critical errors. The antivirus will also support to maintain downloading and all types of files downloaded through internet. I know one of the website which is very helpful and it provides really Cheap AntiVirus and is a no. 1 resource for computer specializing in antivirus, antispyware, internet security, backup & restore, and all in one security software.

Hello Everyone,
You have to remove the temporary files on regular basis.
And install the antivirus.
Do not install updates directly.

Download only from trusted servers and don't forget to turn your firewall on every time.
Put the best internet security tool and it will show a alert whenever some virus is entering your pc through the exe files you download.
Virus mostly comes from exe files, so be careful in downloading them.

...stop downloading torrents...
Try paying for games?
AVG Free Edition is just as good as the rest.
If you do have anything on your PC now, then it's probably too late.
Format it, reinstall windows, keep it fully upto date, keep WinFirewall on, and turn on safesearch if you have Vista/Win7.
Make sure Windows Defender is kept upto date if you have that too.
Do regular Disk Cleanups, and you don't "have to" clear browsing history that often, just do it like once a month or so.
+ post in right sections please..

As long as you are engage in Free download for any data file like games, music, videos, etc then you are expose to all kind of computer threats like virus, Trojans, worms, spyware, malware, etc. There is no escape for this.
Using Anti virus software will minimize your time and work to detect and delete those viruses instead of doing it manually by yourself. I personally recommend Kaspersky because i am using it since version 6.0 and it is perfect from experience wise. Or you can also use NOD32 which is one of the top antivirus after Kaspersky based on consumer experience reviews.

If you think you have a virus, you can go to http://www.pctools.com/free-antivirus/ and their free software will remove malicious items from your computer. And if you find your computer and games running really slow, it could be that you have too much stuff on your computer. If that is the problem, you can delete things you don't use to try to free up more space. If that does not work, you would have to buy a computer with a bigger hard drive and memory.
