Thread: Anti Spam message when register

Hi!
I have a fresh installed CB on an older site where I need CB.
It also have K2 and AdsManager installed.

The problem is I get the Message "Could not verify that you are not a robot" when submitting a new registration, despite I have CB Antispam using ReCaptcha V2 installed and activated.

Any ideas of possible conflicts?

Hi, this happens because the system thinks that you are using third-party software, and because of this, you cannot pass the captcha. At the time of registration, just disable K2 and AdsManager, and only then try to register again. This should help. In addition to the fact that you use K2 and AdsManager, I would advise you to download some kind of application for your browser that will block access to blacklisted sites; this is a handy thing because recently I was a victim of fraudsters and entered my bank details on a fake page of my bank. However, if I had used a uMatrix security application, this would not have happened because I am sure that such fake sites are blocked by applications like uMatrix.
