Default Does anyone here have a profitable woodworking business?

The reason I'm asking is because my longtime friend just informed me that her 30-year-old son has set up a business.
Also sent some photos of what he does, and I'm not impressed-a Kamado grill that I can buy anywhere.
I say this, having owned a large high-end store for more than 10 years, and before that about 5 years ago.
Before I give her my opinion about his new venture, I would like to consult with you guys.

I am shocked by the trash that people sell, and the prices they get for it. I saw works at craft exhibitions, which made me want to ask if the builder knew what sandpaper was. Simple things that require almost no skills, and people lose heart because of this.

Woodworking is a perfect activity if you look at it as just a hobby and as a business.

Woodworking is a perfect activity if you look at it as just a hobby and as a business. Many people are happy to buy handicrafts in all kinds of formats, and it's not a wrong reason to make money. True, it is a very fiddly business. My brother first did woodworking for his pleasure, but then it grew into a small business. He started his own small company, and at some point, his costs for materials and other things began to exceed his profits. He had to seek support from friends. If it hadn't been for these guys factorforyou.com, the business would have had to close. Now we understand that any business requires tremendous effort and energy, and it very often happens that you cannot do without the support of such companies.
