So you are saying that since I own 1 million shares of Warka I bought for approx 1 dinar each, which are now worth probably 3 dinars +/- now, and there is an overnight reval of 1 to 1 (dreaming of course) then my 1 million shares are now worth 3x1246 = 3738x1000000=3.73 billion dinars (dollars). Not bad, but thats also saying that Warka Bank with billions of outstanding shares will have a greater value than the USA?

IMO, some other members would erroneously believe your 1 million shares, valued at 3 million Dinar, would be worth $3 million dollars U.S. after a 1 to 1 reval.

I believe they'd still only be worth about the $3,000 dollars U.S. they're worth, now. If my Math is correct, that would be around .3 Fils each in Dinar. There'd have to be a reverse split or something, so that you'd have 20% of the shares you have now, but they'd be worth 5 times as much or so. They'd work it out.

An investor that has 3 million Dinar would have the equivalent of $3 million Dollars U.S. after a 1 to 1 reval. JMO.

Finally, somebody with a sense of reality out there. Personally I do think my 1 million shares of Warka will someday be worth a million dollars, but it will be due to a combination of an approximate reval someday of .10 and a 1000 to 1 reverse share split, combined with natural escalation of the stock price.

no. i stand by my example. if you buy 1 share at 1 dinar and the stock goes to 2-then you have doubled the # of dinars invested, rv or no rv. the value is the value. if the rv is 1:1 then that share is worth a dollar. i dont think they discount the VALUE of the stock by 1000. nope-dont think so.

We will find out in a few days for sure just what part the ISX plays in the whole scheme of things. There might even be some roadblocks to avoid or hoops to jump through or things that were not thought of.

i think if you bought 1 mil shares at 1 dinar ea. and they tripled to 3 million dinar then a rv of 1:1, you would own 3 million dollars worth of warka stock. you are adding a multiplier of 1246 which is incorrect. study my equation and then tell me where im wrong.
