May everyone have a Happy 4th of July tomorrow, keep your fingers crossed and God bless America.

I wanted to wish you all a happy 4th, and ask that you remember these men and women....These are all pictures of Marines, I know that the rest of America's service men and women are there too, but these are my brothers and sisters, so it is kinda personal.....







People ask why we are over there, well these next pics tell that story....







Then there are some who ask, "Why do they do it?"

It only takes one pic to tell that story...


When you bow your head next, pray for those who pay the price for us through their own blood, sweat, and yes, tears. Have a blessed 4th.

Mr. al-Maliki said in a press conference held yesterday, a news agency : it has been in the cabinet meeting (today), approved a law on oil, gas and put before the parliament in the first reading. The MP Hassan Al-Sunaid, told "Assabah" last week that the Prime Minister announced a package of laws and important decisions, including the Law oil, gas and other security aspect. Still confused on 1 reading or 3 to get passed by Parliament, hopefully just 1.

I agree, we have two differing reports here. We will just have to wait and see. Either way I like that it’s at the forefront.

As much as I want EARLY RETIREMENT with a high reval, today I will focus on prayers for my country and the men and women that serve in the military!! May the good Lord bless each one. Happy and safe 4th everyone!

My son just came home from his 2nd deplorement -- now at Camp LeJeune, NC...heading for home for RI in two weeks. Radio Reconnaissance man...

I briefly asked about the Iraqi economy.

He agreed it is getting better but still so much work to be done to combat insurgents. I thought it wasn't the time to ask about dinars and an RV from his prospective. I gathered he is one Marine that didn't have time nor an interest to contemplate dinars and RV's. When he gets home, I will tell him what I have down the street in a safety deposit box!!

His being home and being safe

is by far a bigger WOOT

than any RV.

May God help the families who have experienced the tragedy of war and may they be surrounded by those that love them on this here day - I pray they are not alone.

What a small world, I was part of Radio Battalion!!!! Could you PM me with his name and rank, I would love to see if I know him or not, not that it matters cuz he's a Devil Dog and all. I'm truly glad he's home safe!! Enjoy your 4th!!!

Your right this is bigger than any RV. Hope he arrives to you safe. Thanks to all the troops here and abroad. With out them we would not be celebrating today. God Bless and Amen.
