Good Very Early Morning . . .

I bumped into an old friend of mine named Chuck @ the Lacrosse game up @ Princeton today . .

Chuck is a very creative stockbroker who made a ton of money back in 1998-2002 trading mostly on line / in foreign stocks / & mostly in Russian stocks . . . Part of my reason for going & standing in the heat was in hopes that he would be there . . .

We talked about the ISX for a little while, and then I asked him a hypothetical question . . . “Without electronic trading, how long would it take him to place a considerable size buy order on the Iraq Stock Exchange?”

“About fifteen minutes,” he answered . . . “I have several colleagues that I am sure have connections that could get that done.”

Point is: At the current exchange rate brokers outside Iraq will find a way to buy up Huge blocks of any stocks associated with building & re-building housing, roads, bridges, pipelines [ water, oil, gas ], refining, drilling, etc. . . .

BTW: Chuck has been waiting to jump in on this soon-to-be feeding frenzy / and hopes there is no RV until he fills his portfolios . . .

No phone updates, remember time differences / my best time to call / & be called is around 5 am eastern time . . .

I gotta get some sleep / I’ll be around later today . . .

Best to all . . . RR . . .
