"Under *Going-Way-Out-On-A-Limb"!"
Good Morning . . .
I, again, am sorry for the delays . . . if it was up to me this would have happened months ago . . .
News: At 5 AM this morning . . . here in PA / 11 AM in Paris / & 1 PM in Iraq / Indy was strutting about her apartment in Paris holding a phone connected with me, and a second phone connected with her Uncle Joe in Iraq . . .
Gist of our 45 min conversation: . . . In her version of his comments, she quipped to me, “It’s the stock exchange, you stupid Camel!” . . .
“By the time it opens [ and there are no delays / that he knows of ] . . . everything WILL be complete!” . . . In his opinion, those of you that have proposed this timing theory are right-on . . .
Rate: All along I have been as confident as possible that it would be between .93 & .98 Euro, . . . or the equiv. US$, / or the basket . . . but he still maintains this US$3.45 figure . . . only time will tell . . .
To those posters on a *different* forum that accuse me of lying & BS & other nice compliments . . . sorry, but I am ONLY posting here . . . If you do not like my info, please GO AWAY . .
If I am wrong here, I am probably off to the closest Peterbilt Dealership . . . so don’t worry about me posting anymore of my controversial thoughts . . .
I’ll be back / if / when I get anything more . . . Am off for the day for my Daughters Alumni Lacrosse game . . . I hope I don’t roast / it’s supposed to be 90 degrees here today . . .
Best to all . . . RR . . .

RR,
It's good to see your continuing steadfastness and unwavering mindset about what you are hearing. Many of us appreciate that you share these thoughts amidst the vitriol and potshots you take. Hope the negative posts never affect your willingness to come here and share what you can.
Thanks again RR

02-06-2007, 03:10 PM #7Your update reminded me of this story... you being the camel and the naysayers being the arab:A little later the Arab awoke to find that the camel had not only put his nose in the tent but his head and neck also. The camel, who had been turning his head from side to side, said, "I will take but little more room if I place my forelegs within the tent. It is difficult standing out here." "Yes, you may put your forelegs within," said the Arab, moving a little to make room, for the tent was small.
The Camel in the Tent
One cold night, as an Arab sat in his tent, a camel gently thrust his nose under the flap and looked in. "Master," he said, "let me put my nose in your tent. It's cold and stormy out here." "By all means," said the Arab, "and welcome" as he turned over and went to sleep.
Finally, the camel said, "May I not stand wholly inside? I keep the tent open by standing as I do." "Yes, yes," said the Arab. "Come wholly inside. Perhaps it will be better for both of us." So the camel crowded in. The Arab with difficulty in the crowded quarters again went to sleep. When he woke up the next time, he was outside in the cold and the camel had the tent to himself.
