If this rumour were true then Soc's "associate" should immediately turn his evidence over to some authority or media. Cheney should be charged with war crimes. Just because someone "hears" something does not justify repeating it. How much harm has been caused by untrue idle gossip? Tons of it we know. Slander is slander no matter how you try to rationalize it. We know this investment is going in the right direction. There is no need to drag someones good name through the mud just to "puff it up" a little.

Neno, because one politician is shady and made a shady deal does not mean all of them are. I don't believe the media myth that all politicians are on the take. There is a certain % of criminally minded persons in every career or occupation. But the vast overwhelming majority of the people in this great nation are doing the best they can to be just and moral. It's tough, but the good guys are winning. If there was even a slight shred of truth in this the media would already be digging deep into it. Someone somewhere would spill the beans and we'd have the biggest scandal in history. This would put our nation to the worst shame we've ever felt. I don't believe one single bit of this.

Exactly. But think about it even deeper. Using that route to make it untraceable is adding more and more people who know, into the mix. People talk and this would already be out in the media. This guy is already an extremely rich man, why would he risk being the biggest disgrace in VP history over a couple more bucks? What's it going to buy him that he can't already buy? It makes zero sense in a logical way and moral way either.

Hope the RV happends in the near future, this year would be good if this would pass, hehe.
