'Fraid not,my friend.Christ MUST come back to finish the job of saving us.
Yes rahly, Jesus will return, but not to save his people from their sin, he has finished that work. He will return with his bride (the church who is made up of believers from every Denomination) so the Father can estabilsh His kingdom through Jesus.

Don't get me wrong;your posts aren't without substance, but in order to understand God's Word, you have to read it literally.
OK...John 19:30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. I though it is finished ment just what it said. I did take it literally.
Quote:
When Christ said it is finished,He was only referring to his mission as a human being, where He proved Himself blameless before God,and therefore capable of saving us
Yes Jesus was a perfect sacrifice (blameless before God) and not only was he capable of saving us, he did save us. Shouldn't we take this literal, Rom 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

John was on Patmos, not Peter.

I'm convinced 9/11 was the flash point that started the "Great Tribulation",the time of Jacob's Trouble
rahly I do believe we are close to the time of the tribulation, but I don't thing we are there yet. But this is just my opinion. And this is a whole different subject.
I'm going to bed now...zzzzzzzz
