Someone gave me this link in the old forum and I used it a few times. It gives you 10 minutes of free time each time you log on to talk anyone in America or Canada. It had someone's affiliate ID attached to it when I signed up but I didn't have to pay for anything.

It's okay when you just want to give somebody a short call, but like I said, it only gives 10 min each time and it hangs up.

Check this site: http://www.gizmoproject.com It's for Mac OS X, Linux (alpha release) and Windows.
Skype is a closed, proprietary network. This is bad for everyone but Skype. Gizmo Project's commitment to open standards insures interoperability with any other open, SIP standards-based voice network.
