Bryan, please don’t take this the wrong way, as I have the greatest respect for the work that you and Sharon have done and are still doing for the many 1000’s of loyal members across the globe.
I am just extremely disappointed that you have decided, for whatever reason, to bring PIPSAID back on line even before you are able to give us anything solid about the major part of your program. I hope and pray that BNM complete their investigation soon, but what happens if this takes years, as some investigations of this sort have done in the past.
It is admirable, and our duty to support those that have less than ourselves. We all realise that the gap between those who have and those who have not is reaching chasmic proportions, with mundane activities like taking a glass of clean water, fresh milk or fresh orange juice from the fridge is but a dream to millions of our friends around the world. However, before we turn to gambling with our spare cash to help ease these needs, we must consider those of your membership that have lost all and much more when grasping for straws within the PIPS programs.
It is very easy for those of us who have enough to belittle those who grab these straws without thought, but until we are in that position we really have no idea of the desperation need causes.
If Pipsaid must be restarted before funds are returned to these members, then please divert some of the returns to assist with this.
Consider these two scenarios; Stranded on an island alone and in search of water, and; Stranded on the 17th floor of a down-town block of apartments, with no partner and 3 young children to feed on the minimum social benefit. Where would you rather be?

I believe that two changes should be made to PIPS:
Firstly that the 180 day roll-off should be dropped, with an appropriate reduction in the daily interest rate paid. (By my calculations around 1.6% per day) . This would also facilitate the future limitation of maximum Loan/ Investment "capitalisation".
And secondly, that in setting that adjusted interest rate an deduction of say 0.1% per day be made to fund PIPSAID as a simple humanitarian fund instead of a mixed bag/game/gamble/gift program like PIPSAID.
