I believe Thumper is a good person. I am sure his lawyer has asked him not to say anything untill all this mess is cleared up. I believe his intension was good and honable. Thumper my heart and prayers are with you. And look forward to having you back when Pips return.

    Interesting,

It all comes down to how much cash or other means of payment were handled by DBR. If it was all in PicPay, then indeed, there is nothing anyone can do until that issue is resolved. If there was, as I have heard, large amounts of cash from non members of PIPS, which I would find hard to believe unles it was being mispromoted, then DBR would be in deep s__t. Not only will the fines levied have to be paid, but also all depositors of cash, and hopefully not those who paid with useless PicPay.

As to Gary promising to take care of refunds, I just hope he didn't take care of them in the wrong way? All we do know is we never saw any refunds of anykind, even in funny money from PicPay, so here we are, all waiting for news on if we see anything from DBR, or nothing at all, and if that was the case, then all who paid with PicPay haven't lost a dime, but I feel bad if those who paid cash cannot get their money back either.

    Good luck to all, Mike

    Question

I had the impression DBR money is in PIPS, not in PicPay because they were waiting the PicPay situation to be cleared. But I'm not sure.

I sent Cash (Money Orders) to DBR because I didn't think PicPay was stable, and I didn't know that my cash would somehow be put into Picpay. Somehow, I was naive to think that this whole thing would bypass Picpay with the exception of the folks who used Picpay funds.

There are others (who I've personally corresponded with since day one) who were reading the original PIPS forum, and decided to take part in the "Secure Pool" because they thought it would be safer than the PIPS 2% Program.

The Secure 3% program was never started, by PIPS, it was waiting for the bank to open, which did not happen.

    very true Mike.
we must presume therefore that Bryan is NOT due in court on Nov.17th.
he would surely have told those of us that have donated to his defence fund that much, wouldn't he?

Well maybe I am reading too much between the lines here in Tango-Tango's post.........but it seemed quite obvious to me that Tango-Tango is quite likely Thumper himself or someone "very close' to Thumper.
He uses quotation marks when refering to 'Thumper', then in the last sentence says "Thumper' has only been reading Bryans post here in the forum, but "I" will try to better keep up. The "I" in that instead of "Thumper" says it all!
