    Blan8 -
Most of us were just having fun "dreaming". No harm in that. I stopped counting on PIPS months ago. That is not because I am negative, but rather realistic. I have no idea what the future holds. If and when PIPS comes back in whatever form, and I actually do get to see in my own bank account some of the six figure amount I had in Picpay, then that will be icing on the cake. But the outcome is yet far from known. Bryan is optimistic, but let's face it, Bryan has been optimistic before and very wrong. He is human, he does not know the final outcome either, as it has not yet been decided. I agree it is not wise to put hope in rumors and speculation. But that being said, there is no harm in having some fun in dreaming, in fact, dreaming is a very healthy thing and I highly recommend it! A person without dreams is pretty much dead. (And I'll get off my soapbox now! lol!)

I'm all for dreaming, but some of the posts were starting too sounds a little psychotic. A little too much information. Why don't they just fork over their bank name and pin while their at it. LOL. I'm just as optimistic as the next guy, but cautiously so. I have been promised many things so far that have not panned out with P***. A restructure would also change my life, but if it is true that a court date is set for mid November, than we just need to wait for that to finish before letting our imaginations run too wild. Say your prayers soon folks, because legal judgements (good or bad) could be around the corner. Good luck to all Pipsters!

Default Why should continuity be so hard to believe?

If it is true, those people who had their accounts set to 100% withdrawal are going to be in for quite a surprise...and my ROL is gonna be through the roof...

    Trade

From what I have gleaned over the past few months, the prospect of the investment/LOAN pool continuing to perform is not hard to accept. It also explains some of the concern expressed earlier when the amount of money in the BON account that was 'frozen' was published. (If my memory serves me it was indicated to be less than $500,000). There was some talk then about 'where's the money gone?'.

The reason inferred/stated is that Bryan hasn't been doing the actual investing, but has had that side of the business managed by professionals. (Which means, in my estimation, that funds will be held separately from 'local' funds)

That all makes good sense, especially when you consider how busy Bryan seems to have been on other projects, both internationally and locally (within Malaysia).

There was never anything to indicate that the investment programme was not on target, nor any reason to suggest it still is not on target.

The problem has always appeared to lie in the determination to make PICPAY work when it clearly was not (at the time) up to the task!

For money to flow there either needs to be a VERY significant improvement in the interconnection between PICPAY(by what ever name it may be called in future) and the electronic BANK Cheque/Wire Transfer/ Debit Card systems. Or elso we should fall back on models that clearly work, including e-gold/e-bullion etc and in-company (computer) generated cheques.

I have in the past made public (forum-based) offers to provide the service to prepare and post these cheques for a set fee aimed at cost-recovery only. That offer still stands.

The link that referred to $2,500 per day did NOT say, infer or imply that that was all we would be able to withdraw!

What it suggested was that (if we are to believe the source - it didn't come from Bryan, remember) that the purported new debit card system would be able to pay out up to $2,500 per day without it appearing on the banking/IRS system radar screens.

There was nothing to suggest that higher amounts could not be withdrawn, even if there was an unstated implication the $2500 per day could be a maximum limit for Debit Card withdrawals.

Think about it! If the maximum is $2500 per day, then based on 250 week days in the year, the maximum you could withdraw would be $625,000 per annum. Now I have to say I could live on that, but my ROL before the BON fiasco was significantly more than that! it would not make any sense to have a scheme running where you 'Capital' produced more profit than you were ever going to be allowed to withdraw!

    Accuracy of thought!
