Thank you for the good news and the long time work.

Now I did make a donation at the initial "fund raising" demand to support Batty's costs.
My donation was small, it was the left balance on my e-gold account, but it was what was asked to be on the claimant list, no?
I still have details of payment made to Pipsaid on June 30th 2005 out of my swiss Postfinance banking account with IBAN.
Even my initial was reasonnable and with acknowledgement of "don't invest what you can't afford to loose", it would be a very nice a little refund!
Cross fingers, I'll post for sure if anything arrives on my account!

(If nothing comes, I would still feel a little bitter against Batty and the claimant team as I think I did what was asked to be part of it )

I would like to say that I do not think any of us was looking for a free ride on anyone. I really believed that this venture was to benefit all of us in the end. That is why we all had this forum, to keep up on what the leaders were doing and watching for when we would be instructed to do a claim. It is very discouraging to find out that we were not included and the attitued is just telling us "too bad, so sad" I hope other things can happen for those of us who followed and watched for years in hopes of getting some little refund. I do not think it was made clear that if we did not donate, we would not be included. This is not a donation, it is a purchase:) I thought it was a volunteer who offered to help us all as a group and the donations were to be from those who could afford to donate. It was not clear that we had to sign up or donate or anything. We were lead to believe that we were all included in the quest to get some sort of refund for all of us.

    Marek,
E-Gold usage is so complicated and such a pain. Can't you use other well accepted methods like PayPal, or STP. I'd be delighted to send you 2 Bucks and I hope most members feel the same way.
    Thanks.

I too have been keeping up with all the reports on the Forum, and honestly was hoping for good outcome for everyone. But it seems like we may have all been fooled into signing up with the Forum after PIPS went down. I am like most people and I know I speak for me and my husband. We had just retired and spent our money and thought it would make us some money for the future. Now we are not well and were not able to send more money in that we didn't have to invest. I am sure there is a list when they took all the computers and found all the records where people had invested. It would be nice to receive a little porting back while we may have a few years left on this earth.
    Thanks!

My wife and I invested $25,000 AUD when PIPS was actively paying out, we had monies coming to us and have kept the print-outs to prove it, but it never came and soon after Brian Marsden was in court...we'd like to claim our funds back too.

    Couldn't say it better!

That this hasn't been fought as a class action lawsuit is a desaster to say the least. PIPS Inc. business was registered in Malaysia. For me it means that Malay Authorities MUST consider the WHOLE membership and reimburse to ALL members who participated in this program. The members list is known, for an Authority who acts and "Authority" there is no reason at all to keep any money from members (Every central bank prints its own fiat money as they see fit anyway) but - since Marsden was convicted - an automatic refund process to all members MUST or should have been initiated. Period. Everything else are lame excuses IMO.

I also got this email after a long time mentioning the refunds and was only too disappointed to see that only a small group who was able to file apparently individual cases apparently had some success while it should've been the aim from the very start to insist to represent us as a whole group. But that's the normal procedure in our world where everyone just follows its own benefits...

Anyway, the very next and urgent aim should be that ALL members get refunded. Since there is already a small group very well informed in this whole process (where 98% of us are completely outta loop and have no clue what/where/when) and knows the lawers involved etc. my suggestion would be that after you got your refunds help to file a class action suit or some sort of.

The membership was how many people strong? I don't remember the numbers, I think it was above 100k members. It just cannot be that out of 100 or 200k members only 1-2 handful get refunds while the Banks/Authorities in Malaysia keep hundreds of millions of dollars away from OUR monies!

All I would like to know is how to go about requesting a refund for monies that were put into the PIPS Inc fund. I also have saved every reciept, fax and correspondance with Chandra and the other PIPS reps as well as phone records of call to Malaysia from the US. It would be nice to break even. Who do we contact, what are the numbers for phones and physical address's and who do we speak to tht are investigating this case? I did not feel I had to "donate" as I felt scammed by Brian Marsden and PIPS so I feel I am entitled to a refund as well as the rest of the PIPS investors.

Edit: I can relate and understand your once held apprehensive position taken but I for my part would also add, I wish you hadn't for this was the result that left you out of your own doing. Anyway, whining over spilled milk isn't helping the course so, read the latest post I made further below that addresses to three messages I received and see what and how you can prepare yourself in future should and when the next "golden" opportunity shows up on the horizon.

Yr attitude to "I feel I am entitled" is certainly viewed as profoundly accepted to express as it is shared by many thousands more who were equally scammed by BM. Just don't let the next available opportunity pass like you did when we gave that opening to all members which then launched the coverage on the Trial by assigning Batty to it with "whatever" funds made available and that is not made from Govt / Bank loans or from a church or charity organization. If no adequate funding sustain the coverage and if we depended on many "hot air" promises and support that flew in with posts but left out the real $$$s needed, Batty wouldn't have made it after I switched over from the E-Gold option to the PayPal option with a minimum amount, still regarded as a donation. - YB.
