To come all the way for this (trial status) is a waste of good money. Unless its a vacation cum fact finding mission. I'm not stopping anyone don't get me wrong, please visit my country and me. IMHO its just not worth it. What do you do once you find out the new trial date? Stay?

Let's just wait and see. I am sure that he's not going anywhere anyhow unless he made bail somehow. Maybe we can attend his trial once it has started till then we sit back and relax.

A few people I know will be going, once there is a firm trial date.

Hi friends,

Many of you have been left wondering, what happened? When is the trial?

Here is a update of what I've done so far.

1. Made calls to the Seremban Court House
2. Written to Utusan Malaysia (newspaper), the last report of BM from here. Twice.
3. Written to Berita Harian (newspaper)
4. Check the news

The results.

1. Court house wants dates, case no., court no. in order to facillitate me.
2. Utusan has just replied today! But did not provide info on BM, gave me a number to call.
3. Have not replied
4. Have not seen any news remotely for PIPS.

Follow up.
1. Call the number given to me by Utusan (newspaper).
2. If given info, proceed to call the court or if possible update all of you.
3. Write to the English papers.
4. Continue looking for news.

So there you have it. Since I have no inside contacts or informants, I do what I can.

In the States of A.... whenever one feels like it's leading to limbo... the next best advise you get to hear is, keep a tab on the local nearby morgue too.

No news is GOOD news if confirmed by them ... leave your cellphone with them, all of them if need be to be sure the whole city or Province is covered!

Here is additional update: My call to the Utusan newspaper's info center tel. number today, yielded another new number to call regarding the case !!!! - theBat$

The Utusan newspaper gave you theBat$' phone number? That's incredibly wrong of the Utusan newspaper to do that unless theBat$ gave them permission to do so; but, one thing is for sure, it shows how theBat$ has been beating the bush there trying to get the skinny on what's going on. Good job theBat$, but, dude, you had better straighten that newspaper out about giving your phone number away.

The update in Dreamer's post was from me. It is I that recieved another number from Utusan after calling a number obtained from my email correspondence with them.

I put it in with Dreamer's post as I didn't want to start another post for such a small update. Guess I better next time, to avoid miscommunication.

Hehe...when I read that insertion you made and bold it in larger red... I wasn't mistaken nor be led into any misinterpretation... I read it as one can see clearly having little effort to evaluate.... You had received the tel. info from Utusan... no difficulty spotting it Batty.

But yes,better to seperate it in future as others are not like me and esp. those with laser vision either... despite having a feast of roasted pigglings to celebrate Chinese New Year...
