Who is reading your Email…that shouldn’t be?
Not sure if you read the news yesterday that just about knocked me out of my chair, but society’s rule makers, have decided that we will no longer be permitted to use envelopes etc. when sending regular (snail) mail to others. We are being ordered to simply slap the address and stamps on the item to be sent and ship it off, as is. Totally UNSECURED and totally NUDE ---- for all prying eyes to see!
No envelopes allowed, no packaging, no cardboard tubes --- not even that bubble wrap that we all love to hear pop!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
You do know that the above is not true right?
Kind of ridiculous to think that this could ever happen, isn’t it?
What if it were true? How quickly would people stop using snail mail? How fast would internet communications totally take over?
Overnight!
Nobody would stand for it. Virtually nobody would be sending their ommunications through regular mail. Duh.
Nobody wants anybody else, other than the intended recipient, reading their mails and correspondence and nobody ever will. It’s this crazy little thing we call ---- “PRIVACY”!
So why in the world do we not care if others are reading our Emails? They are!
Taken from Pc World Magazine:
---------------------------------------------------------
According to intelligence experts in the United States and Europe, a massive electronic intercept program called Project Echelon scans all Internet traffic, cell phone conversations, faxes, and long-distance telephone calls --- virtually every type of electronic communication --- looking for evidence of terrorist activity, military threats, and transnational crime.
The e-spying is being conducted by the secretive U.S. National Security Agency and its counterparts in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.
"They are looking for thugs and drugs," says John Pike, expert on security and intelligence issues for the Federation of American Scientists in Washington, D.C.
That pursuit may be worthwhile in theory --- but most of what the spooks are scanning comes from you and me, not from terrorists, criminals, or other menaces to society.

Why do we continue to passively send Emails that are falling into the hands of others? You may as well copy these people on your mails—because they are getting them anyway, on a silver platter!!!
Email was never intended to be secure – it is like sending a letter in an unsealed envelope that anyone can open and read, or steal. Every Email you send goes through intermediate computers before it reaches your intended recipient.

Technology commentator Bill Thompson (care of the BBC News website), writes:
---------------------------------------------------------
“Every time you send an e-mail it passes through a series of computers on its way to the intended destination.
Most of them are owned and managed by internet service providers, although if you use webmail from Yahoo, Google or Microsoft then it may take a different route.
But whoever provides your e-mail, the chances are they are having a look at every message you send or receive.
At the moment, their reasons are mostly benign, since they are looking for spam, viruses and other nasty stuff that we wouldn't want anyway.”

---------------------------------------------------------
The internet has made people very lazy in protecting their privacy. Not hard to believe. It’s still relatively new to most and it is ever changing and by nature people are just plain lazy. Aren’t we? Marketers know this and that is why almost everything nowadays is designed to make our lives easier. One thing you cannot be lazy with is your pursuit in...
Protecting your personal information and conversations...
Even knowing all this, people still continue to say things in Email that can and sometimes do, come back to haunt them later. The result could be; getting fired, divorced, arrested or at least humiliated because of it. Once that Send button is hit, there is no way to take it back.
It's often been said that you shouldn't put anything in Email that you wouldn’t want showing up on the front page of the newspaper or on a public Web site for any and everyone to see. It happens! Did you know for example; that there is website where you can search through hundreds of thousands of Email messages that were sent to and from former Enron executives and employees?
Maybe you’ll say; “My Email service is provided to me by a local internet provider”.
FACT: For those of you who fall under this category; YOU may be at even greater risk.
Most Internet Service Providers store copies of your Email messages on their mail servers before they are delivered, and backups of these can remain for several months, even if you delete them from your mailbox.

So we are talking about a local business, in your local town, holding your private information---on THEIR servers, that YOU are paying a monthly fee for! Will they release content of your conversations? You can hold your breath on that question if you like…I would prefer not to. And anyways---
WHY CHANCE IT?
Why chance any of it when there is a better, smarter way to communicate?

Your solution is X-WIRE!
Picture X-Wires security level like this: It’s a safe, locked behind a vault, caged within infrared trip wires, monitored by 24/hour military snipers!

Or in other words...

X-WIRE is a stand-alone network for private exchange of data. It is as simple to use as Email, but suffers none of the problems of Email. This is because X-WIRE was designed from the ground up to be completely secure. Information exchanged in X-WIRE is always protected and is available to sender and receiver only. Moreover, X-WIRE messages are provably delivered and there is a built-in track and trace that let’s you know that the message was received. Wouldn’t you agree that “We should NEVER have to ask a contact, DID YOU GET MY EMAIL”?

And perhaps best of all, there are no special requirements to get going. All that is required is an Internet connection and an X-WIRE node.

Standard Email encryption programs available on the market are in and of themselves not sufficient, if only because of three additional phenomena affecting Email: spamming, phishing and Email worms.

The combination of spam and worm programs results in Email users receiving a constant drizzle of junk Email, which reduces the usefulness of Email as a practical tool – even if personal privacy were not an important concern.

It’s up to You...

· Do you want to have peace of mind?
· Do you want to put a stop to that spam that invades your day ---everyday?
· Do you want to take back your inbox?

X-Wire is wiping away worry, anguish, regret and stress. All you have to do is use it.
Not only does it guard your privacy, it also delivers a knockout punch to SPAM and E-MAIL VIRUSES as well.
Only you know who you never want seeing your Emails. Is it a husband, wife, an ex’s lawyer, colleague, friend, other? I think it’s safe to say, that for most of us, we don’t want ANYONE looking at our conversations. But keep in mind that your Email content is there to be accessed and used by those who can really make your life miserable.
Happens all the time...
The use of Email information as evidence in the Microsoft antitrust trial was just one of the most visible examples.
Whether you’re a doctor, an accountant, a chief executive, a chief financial officer or an internal auditor, even if you work at home or are retired---you need to know that what you put in an Email could one day become key evidence in litigation.
Will you try X-Wire today or will you continue to leave your conversations unprotected?
