Scampay letter

Scampay/Stormpay sent me a letter in the mail.

Telling me that I owe them $1000.00 and if I do not pay they are going to take me to court. I called the number on the letter and said go ahead and try. Your a scam and your holding my money from 12 daily pro so the simple process goes. You pay up and I will pay up.

No one of course answered the phone and I had to leave a message. I wonder how many users are falling for this one.

Stormpay is now threatning users that they are going to take them to court if they have a negative balance.

Good thing I eliminated all my bank accounts and credit cards from my account.

Doubt they would go to court for 1k, would cost them way more

Last word I had, SP has been shut down and are not allowed to move any money at all. Hope it won't stop there. Hope they get taken to the cleaners. They need to know what it feels like!

Here's hoping we'll all get our money back, or at least some of it!

I got the letter from stormpay. In fact I got my second letter from them yesterday. I laughed and called them just like I did the first time. Again no answer hmm. Should I have expected a responce NOPE.

Anyway, long story short I told them on the message phone go ahead try to take me to court. When they release all the money they have scamed then I will pay up. Until then go ahead try to call me.

I also said, I doubt you will call because last time I called you. You did not respond.

What a joke.

I am hearing (reading) that SP is still operating and trying to come back by wooing all us poor suckers that fell for their scam in the first place. Who do they think they are? God? What's scary is that they may come back without revealing their true identity and suck some of us in again. Well not I, I can tell you. I'll never even pull up their website again if I can help it. Once burned, twice cautious, huh?

Incidentally, has anyone retrieved any of your money they stole? It's been amazingly quiet over there.

How do you remove all your personal details...i can only change my email address but when trying to change my name, it is grey off.

Hi everyone,

I disputed all charges that were owed to my from Stormpay...with my credit cards and my bank accounts. When I first heard what was happening the first few days in February I IMMEDIATELY went into my SP account and deleted ALL of my banking and cc info...then cancelled the account completely.

From two of my cc companies I received DISPUTES FROM STORMPAY!
There was PAGE after PAGE of GENERIC BABBLE of how I entered into ponzi programs blahblahblah my own risk BLAH...THEN there was a print out of "MY" account and the activity for the last 8-ish months. ALL OF MY BANKING/CREDIT CARD INFORMATION was printed for WHOMEVER to read...along with transactions that I had NEVER MADE with my SP account! Also the threat of court and legal action...to which I laughed out loud...Phoned my cc company...disputed THEIR dispute and got my money back for good. Sending my account numbers to just "anyone" is a MAJOR Security/Privacy issue...In my written rebuttal I let it be known that I WOULD MOST DEFINITELY welcome the chance to appear in court with a representative of SP because I would like to know what they have to say about them breaking THEIR OWN terms and conditions.

Still haven't heard about my bank account though...must remember to check on that Monday.
