Hassle,

Ever heard the saying 'Closing the stable door after the horse has bolted', there are a lot of legal issues for lawyers to go through in connection with the investigation. Waiting until charged (if charged) and appearing in court before engaging a lawyer is bit late in the day.

Thanks for posting updates and your input and please know that most of us are behind you 150%.... but we do have a few questions that still need answered. Also please know that just because we have questions, doesnt mean we are trolls like a LOT of people like to say. It only means we are human with a mind of our own. Surely you understand that. Also, most of us are not in a situation where we could donate if we wanted to. Times are really hard on EVERYBODY.


OK....."IF charged" as you put it.......charged with what? We are pretty much being kept in the dark here. So can you please elaborate just a bit? WHAT would you be charged with IF you were charged with something? I mean PIPS is 100% legitimate correct? So there should be no worries of being charged with anything. I honestly think more people would be a little more willing to donate if we had a clue "why". (and not just for "PIPS defense fund....really why?) And honestly, what kind of attorney wouldnt take a case like this on a "no win no pay" basis? We are talking about handling a case for a BILLION DOLLAR corporation that is a household name ALL OVER THE WORLD BY NOW right? There surely would be a HANDSOME fee for them awaiting the ending of this hearing/trial if they were to win, not to mention the notoriaty, good lord, this is a career case for ANY attorney/law firm. Wouldnt you agree?
So I cant see why they would need to be paid upfront, unless of course they know they cant win......then I can see why they would want paid upfront. But having said that, if they already know in their hearts that they cant win.......then we need somebody else.....dont you agree?

These are just my thoughts and I am no troll. I am a 150% PIPS supporter who just has some questions........like many others.

This will probably get deleted soon, so I hope you get a chance to see it before it does.

I dont think one person on here has said that legal representation is a "bad" thing have they? But one has to wonder how much confidence this "legal representation"has in themselves if they wont work on a "no win no pay" basis on such an overwhelmingly HUGE case. If they show no confidence in themselves, WOW thats bad.

Since all of my posts are being deleted, I will not comment on your post other than by saying, "Ditto."

It is not as you think it is Champ. Threads will all members post have been moved to our team folder you can not view. We have not deleted anything from you besides moving the threads.

And I would LOVE for you to explain to me exactly how you are so knowledgeable in this these things? Are you an attorney? I didnt think so, so dont presume to tell me what I do and do not know. I may not be an attorney either, but I do have "common sense". ANY, and I say ANY corporation worth its weight in salt has a "legal team" on retainer who set readily waiting to handle situations such as this. I own a small DishNetwork dealership and I have an attorney on retainer ready to jump if I need him too. I would have hoped that a BILLION DOLLAR CORPORATION would have also done so. I have had to use my attorney a couple of times when customers tried to sue me because of "so called" damages done to their homes by my installers. NOT ONCE did he ever tell me "I cant handle this for you until I am paid". NEVER!! That is the purpose of having them on retainer. NOTHING you or anybody else says can convince me that the PIPS "legal team" is going to require this to be paid upfront. I do NOT buy it. Like I said "unless" they have no confidence in their own ability to win this case. Heck, just the notoriaty from a case like this is worth as much as the money.

Style has every right to ask the questions he/she does. I too would very much like the answers to those questions, and one more:

I realize that funds in Malaysia are frozen, but there must be at least a few dollars left in panama or australia or somewhere to deal with this. Legal fees for something like this should be pocket change for a corporation with the assets of pips, so why does Bryan need any donations at all? Call me a troll if you will, but I'd just bet I'm not the only one with that question.
