The word "Nasi" means rice and "Lemak" means fat. Fatty rice? Often found sold as shown or just wrapped with the banana leaf itself, you can find this on the street corner or in eating establishment to hotel restaurants. This nasi is sure good and value for money, you can read the newspaper as well. :toofunny:

Charming town - Ayer Itam
Nestled at the foothills of Penang Hill, this charming little town has much to offer to the visiting tourist. Home to the famous Kek Lok Si Buddhist Temple Complex as well as the Penang Hill Funnicular Railway. The more daring tourist can also savour the popular local dish known as Laksa here which the area is famous for.
 More Dishy Talk
Laksa is a type of noodle dish. What makes it different its soup. Which is made from fish meat, herbs and spices. It is hot, sour and extremely fishy (pungent). Topped with sliced onions, sherdded cucumbers, shredded pineapple and chillies. Guranteed to make you teary eyed and clear your nostrils. That's why I say its only for the daring. But getting past the smell, you can find that it is quite good. Order a bowl then try it!
