When this revalues, and having paid a bit extra for those lower denominations, you will just be glad that you bought extra!

Besides with the lower notes, you can use them for weekend shopping trips for the wife. Just give her a $1k note and cash it in at the local bank and have her enjoy herself for the day. With the note and rate being low, it may come under the radar and may not end up paying any taxes. Of course, you will report this since it would be on your conscious and is the correct action to take. Or just move to Las Vegas and establish residency so as to eliminate state taxes! Yes, Texas, Wyoming, Alaska, Florida to others have this feature as well but LV is a few hours drive for me.

The tax savings alone would be worth it. If you paid an extra $300, then just think the amount of taxes would be saved on $100k worth of transactions. It would be closer to $30k including fed and state income taxes, especially in HI.

Not to mention the cost of the wheel barrow to move them !!! LOL I purchaced most of mine in Iraq and as you could figure, got the premium deal. Just don't forget that a lot of local merchants are politely declining to sell dinar for the US greenback. Doe's this mean anything? Who knows. Maybe they think a reval is coming the same as us.

How good does that big jump look.....I want to be the first to guess on the next auction & I will say 1387. Sure is good to see it get away from the 3 point gains.

Now, I am not a loyal watcher of Friends but, I do remember an episode where they were in Vegas & Monica said "It just got interesting"......when she was going to get married.......I think it just did.

All pm's sent out guys, check your emails.
Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.

Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.
