I doubt very seriously if there is anyone on this forum who have not at some point in time in their life time have not needed help or had hardship. We all have and may continue to make unwise decisions. The older you grown, the more you become wise; it does take time and still sometime people are put in conditions that they have to do what they have to do or will make unwise decision; we are ALL humans.

People are in need and those who want to help, will do so. That is a good thing. Those who will help, please refrain from your negative remarks as we are not dealing with children here that we can help and scold at the same time. If you want to help, please respect the feelings of those you will be helping. There could be a Thread created for this. Many that can afford WILL HELP.

As far as the dinar, my personal opinion is we will come out on top; when, I don't know, but we WILL. All of this positive information about the dinar, it will r/v. Look at the information coming from Mike, Wm. Knowles, Adster, Charmpiper, Mike 5200 and OUR SHOTGUNSUSIE and many others that I recognize and respect, this is a GO when the time is right.

I spent 32 years working in the political realm; learned to handle any and everything thrown at me.

Wow - same days of the week. Good observation! Let's hope we can get the same results for 2007.

Not being negative friend just asking if the opinion works both ways. I have nothing to frown about except when I start to read the post of those who have over-extended themselves because of the sure thing next week that's hyped. My post are intended to help keep those who can't avoid the hype grounded. I'll certainly continue enjoying a prosperous life and my holidays will only get better each year, no frowns.

    On another note.

    Iraq oil law talks delayed

    Reuters
An Iraqi government committee drafting an oil law has failed to agree whether regions or the centre should sign deals on foreign investment and it is up to political leaders to find a solution, sources said.

'We are trying to reach a compromise formula,' he said.

The contracts issue is vital to Iraq's future as a solution favouring the regions would devolve power over its most valuable resources to the majority Shi'ites and the Kurds, who inhabit regions with oilfields, weakening the central government.

'The law now awaits more talks between the Iraqi government and the Kurdish region,' Oil Ministry spokesman Asim Jihad said.

The industry desperately needs foreign investment to revive the shattered economy, which relies heavily on oil export revenues. Iraq sits on the world's third largest crude reserves.

Minority Sunni Arabs, who were the dominant group under Saddam Hussein before the US-led invasion in 2003, fear regional devolution will leave them with nothing.

Even though the Shi'ites are dominant in the southern region also containing major oilfields, they have so far also opposed the Kurdish stance in the talks.

'The first round of the talks has failed, now we are waiting for the second round,' a senior oil industry source said.

The Oil Committee which includes the oil minister, has agreed on more than 90 per cent of the law.

Salih, who said talks would resume in a few days, was hopeful the Iraqi officials would overcome their differences.

He said the committee had agreed on oil revenue sharing and on restructuring of the industry, which he called key issues.

'We have not failed. The talks will resume in few days, the oil law is the priority for the government,' he said.

Iraqi officials have always said that the law will be delivered to the parliament to ratify by the end of December.

Salih said officials were working hard to meet the deadline.

    Default You have no idea

You have no idea what another person's situation is. You assume that some people are over extended because of investing in the dinar. Did anyone give you a cyrstal ball to look into someone else's life. You pompous *****. This is life and it happens; and some times, circumstances beyond our control causes people hardships. I know that this is a good investment for everyone that decided to invest in it. They planted a seed and it will grow and make a return for them. In the meantime, we keep living and dealing with life's situations because we don't have a choice. It is easy to say that we have compassion for the iraqi people that are suffering and for our soldiers that are caught in this war zone for our freedom and for the iraqi people and others in the world, but is it so hard to show some compassion for those that are right here at home that may be having a hard time today? Remember, the wind won't blow up the same dog's as*** everyday. The wind will shift directions and when it does, you just may be the one fanning flies off your as** no matter now carefully you planned your finances. I hope you stay in good health and of a sound mind, I got a feeling a few people will remember what an assumptive butt you have been when others were in need and "pay back" is a beatch. This is the season that we express our love to one another, which we should always, love our neighbors as our selves, if you want a reference to that one, pick up the bible, its there in print. The bible says that we should look on that of another man and not of our own, not to be envious, but sometimes, Mr. "I have it all together", see if there is someone that you can be a blessing to instead of looking down your nose at people. You can respond to this if you wish but I won't answer you any more, I have wasted enough time responding to your ignorance; and besides, no matter what I say or anyone else for that matter, you are who you are and your opinion is what it is; I am just hoping that the wind shifts real soon and blows that smirk right off your face.

Wow! Referring me to the bible. Congratulations, of all those deserving of the ignore feature you became my first. The reason I have what I have is called Karma and hard work from an early age, both physical and mental, fortunately I made mine early. I've always given without anyone asking.
I guess I'm a bad guy for having a good life and material items?
And please, make a note, I look down my nose at nobody.

I just have one thing to add, and then I will leave this alone.

Give generously, for your gifts will return to you later. Divide your gifts among many, for in the days ahead you yourself may need much help.
