I was searching for news and I discovered this...it was a news story not an plea for donations (not even sure if you can) but, please let me post it here so if anyone here was considering donating money to causes this would be a good one: (Sorry if this some think that it rude/off topic)

A New School For Iraqi Orphans Needs Support?
To all the followers of DocDave's journey who were interested in given something back as part of their stewardship of their upcoming windfall; here is very good place to help and it would fitting to help:


A New School for Orphans
Iraqi education ministry established a new school for orphans who lost both parents through violence in Baghdad, Radio Sawa reported this morning. The radio station’s website quoted the director of the Rusafa Education Directorate saying that the idea of establishing this school came “due to the increasing number of [the orphans] because of the violence that targets civilians.”

The director added that this school, which includes 1000 female and male students, is the first of its kind to be established in the country. It aims to prevent these orphans from falling in the trap of becoming tramps.

Dave, I learned not to assume in high school, when my teacher shared a short lesson about it. It is not Godly council, but it stuck.
When you assume, you make an a** out of u and me. ass-u-me. (Sorry mods and all.) Like I said, it just stuck.

I'm still standing with you. Like stated before, you obeyed, it is in the Lords hands now. Rest in that.

Keep us posted, like TT stated above. We are all eager to hear the ending (or beginning!!!)

Thanks Doc Dave for your example of faith and believing. I really admire your faith and belief. Very Impressive! It reminds me that I need to also demonstrate in the same manner.

Dave did what the Lord told him to do, he never said it would RV before the 8th, he just assumed that if the funds for this came through the dinar, it would have RV'd before the 8th.

Perhaps the rate has already been determined. Perhaps there is a delay in the announcement of this. He stated if it RV's this week, he would be able to cover the funds. Sit back and watch what the God of this universe, humble as a lamb, but is also a roaring Lion, can do. Do not put God in a box. I totally beleive the dinar will be used to pay back what king Nebu-whatever his name is from Babylon long ago stole from the House of the Lord in Jerusalem over and over again for a period of years, perhaps. Praise the Lord that He wants me and you (whether you believe in Him or not or whether you have a relationship with Him right now or not) to be a part of this big pay-back. Read 2 Kings.

Tree, Seen you lurking! Was realy hoping for RV. Oh well maybe next year. Personally really could use the funds, just purchased a small Farm.

There is talk of it coming in at .02-.05 as early as tomorrow.
