Which currency pair do you usually trade ??
I almost exclusively stick to the EUR/USD because I understand it's movements from years of trading it, how about you ??

I prefer the EUR/USD and USD/JPY, for the same reasons as yourself and the low spread.

FOREX Trading Strategies
Interesting,
No doubt, if you are trading the traditional way, charting and following markets, you want to stay with what you are most familiar with, but like all strategies, it depends on how much time you can devote to your FOREX trading. If you talk to most longtime traders, the same complaint will be heard, you can easily get burned out, as I did many years ago, but like all habits, they are hard to break. lol
With stock market collapse, now back to 1994 levels, and trillions lost in market, more people are looking at FOREX than ever. One thing for sure, the FOREX is not impacted by recession like everything else is, in fact, more opportunities to make a lot more if you know the markets, and I had a heck of the day when dollar took hit this week knowing Bernanke was going to pump more monopoly money into this ongoing bailout, so unless this ends anytime soon, you can count on dollar sinking back to last year lows over the coming months. lol
Success to all, Mike

For me this changes a little bit depending on market conditions. But most often: EUR/USD, USD/JPY, GBP/JPY, AUD/USD, CAD/USD (in no particular order).
