Do you bury a married parent with their jewelry? I thought you did, but someone just told me she was upset she never found her parents wedding rings after they died.

Many people do this, as well as many leave any jewelry with them, as a keepsake

I wouldn't ask this question of people, it's a personal question, but since you already asked it, I'll answer it. Whether or not to bury a person with precious metals depends on whether or not they wanted it during their lifetime. Very often people will bequeath their possessions to someone before they die and tell them how to bury them. If the person you are burying has not told you anything about what jewelry they want to see on themselves when they bury them, then I advise you not to put that jewelry in their casket. If you do, you may hurt his feelings. Do as the deceased wished, the last wish is a priority and must be strictly fulfilled
