I made a short train journey of 8 mins last week. Hardly anyone wearing a mask. Would like to make a longer journey of an hour, but feel unsure. Am 74 with moderate COPD. Any thoughts ......anyone?

07-07-2021, 10:07 AM #4I'm almost 62. I haven't ridden trains in quite a while because I live in the countryside. Recently I was going to go to the capital to visit my children and I had to take the train. I went to https://www.dbfahrplan.com/de/ to find out the schedule and the train arrived on time, which surprised me. Luckily, everyone on the train was wearing masks, which really calmed me down because I am very afraid of the coronavirus. I got myself vaccinated before the trip. I rode for a few hours and overall this trip wasn't so bad. I guess at your age there is no problem with train travel. Just take care of your vaccinations and you'll be fine.
