yeah ive had my family give me a ration ever since i first mentioned this to them 3 years ago or whatever its been. of course i used to tell them of every impending date so it became 'i thought that was supposed to happen last month'. now i dont mention it at all and every once in a while my brother hears me woOt from the bedroom and says hopingly 'is it good?'. its good but not the golden goose 'YET!' i gave them all dinar for christmas 2 years ago so they would get the fever as well and my nieces are always asking about it and excited. i have bought enough to give each one of my family members a million dollars which will be my one time gift to each.

Thanks SGS this helps alot. I see that you are as generous with giving as you are with sharing information. These are great attributes to have.
    God Bless!

    And why should you!

This reminds me of the childhood story of “The little red hen and the bread.” If you have not had it red to you, it is the story of a little red hen that wanted to make bread. All the farm animals were too busy to help with the planting of the wheat, care, and harvest, making and baking of the bread.

As soon as the bread was fresh and hot from the oven the farm animals was lining up for their share. In the end only the little red hen and her chicks ate the bread. So take a lesion from this. As the old story goes, “To tickie, No laundry!”

Let the guilt rest with them when you are off in the Bahamas while they are shoveling snow!

Hey Susie. How will they prove or document that they've had it for over a year for tax purposes so as to get tax rate of long term capital gains.

Not sure about the proving the held over one year. Maybe just a copy of the reciept showing the original transaction. I am sure once the dinar is cashed their are forms for that sort of thing. We have a tax person on the forum.
We should ask them for some help on this one.

When the RV hits, you don't have to tell any of those people (who mocked you when you shared the investment idea with them) that you are successful. Just live your life and change the subject if they ask you about it because it is really NONE of their business. Also, be as generous as you want to be, it is YOUR choice. My brother and sister poo poo'd this also...so I stopped mentioning it at all to them for the last 2 years and they have not asked about it as they have forgotten about it. I also bought each of them 1 million dinars that I will give to them at a time of my choosing after the RV. It will be a great moment and it will be my choice to be generous with them!! My sister is getting a divorce so I will wait till she kicks her hubby to the curb so he can't get in on it. I might have shared some with him anyway...but I found out he punched my sister so he is actually lucky to be alive!!
