Thread: What would happen if we transfused animal blood into humans?

The body would immediately initiate a full on attack on the foreign material. Inflammatory response would try to clear it out and if you aren’t careful you could go into shock and might even die from the complications.

We can’t even transfuse all human blood, specific typing is needed. The body is very particular about what may enter and what not.
