Once the suspect is at the police station he or she will be told their rights and asked if they want a solicitor to represent them. It is up to the suspect to decide whether or not they do. If the suspect is under 17 the police must find an “appropriate adult” to be present during any interview. The adult will usually be a parent, family member, carer or social worker.

The police will then interview the suspect. If they decide they have enough evidence to consider charging the suspect, the police must then decide whether the case is one that they can charge themselves or whether it requires the approval of a Crown Prosecutor. In less serious, straightforward cases where the suspect admits the offence, the police are permitted to charge the suspect without first referring the case to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS). In all other cases a Crown Prosecutor must review the case, decide on the correct charge and give their approval to the suspect being charged.

Once a suspect has been charged they must appear before a magistrates’ court. The police have to decide whether to release them on bail or whether they should be taken to court in custody. In England and Wales a person is innocent until proven guilty in a court and so should not be kept in custody before trial unless there are good reasons for doing so.

In the UK the magistrates are normal poeple like you and me, in fact I could be one....all events at magistrates courts are logged and published in newspapers and in most courts a local reporter is present

Personally I cant see this as being real and this is where the conspiracy theorists start to lose it IMHO....

berty, what you say there about the law is exactly the way the law should operate, but we all should know that it doesn't always happen that way.
For example there are laws here in Aust. where a person can be kept in solitary for days and in a recent case here for some weeks without seeing a magistrate. These laws are mo****ed on the US and I would assume that in GB there are similar laws. Suspects in some cases have been transported illegally out of their country, flown half way round the world and ended up in countries that dont mind doing a bit of torture to get info. These people too have never seen a magistrate or a judge while being held.
As for innocent till proven guilty, until all this terrorism took to the main stage that may have been the case, but now it is guilty and you PROVE you are innocent.
As for the MSM, they will only tell you what 'they' want you to know. 911 was a perfect example of that.

Back to GPP: I start losing my hope, I am wondering if it's only me or other believers start to feel the same?

HOPE is somehow inspirational however, a loose thread as it usually is with reality, it is far from being a Samaritan of sorrow from loss and despair!!!

Reality with HOPE is when Practicality kicks in and Despair to painful truth sets out with grave uncertainty.

Last update was on Sept. 12th... It would be nice to get another one soon. Seems like they should be telling us the status on the 100,000 signups... That would be helpful in keeping hope alive.
