Which is the BEST Operating System in the World ?

As there are Windows, Mac OS and Linux as the main 3 OS in the world (we are not talking about Sun Solaris, AmigaOS, OS/2 and others here as there are not widely used). Which one do you support ?

I personally choose Windows for it's wide acceptance, great software availability and not to mention great computing performance from todays new hardwares. Only Windows can churn out most of the powers from those performance beasts. Other OS cannot match Windows in this area. I agree that there are many security issues with Windows, but that situation is constantly improving with newer version releases and service packs.

i like both windows n mac os....they both have their strengths and weaknesses....i'd have to agree with you when you say that windows with its wide software availability...but don't forget mac is gaining momentum quickly...i love the mac on the other hand for its media utilities...and not to forget mac's GUI is superb....

Windows XP is the best because it is easy to use has some drivers in it...the only weakness is that it is very buggy :D

mac is easy also, if you were born with it..then it should not be a problem. :) what do you mean windows is very buggy? mine is running perfectly smooth ever since.

I think Max os and Linux is the best OS in the world. As they have a great scurity system as compared to that of the windows. I personally use linux for my business work.

Windows is the best OS for me though I use linux on my desktop. I use windows on my Laptop :)

Right now im using Windows Vista, tough I want Ubuntu as fast as possible.
My friend has been using Vista for a while now, and switch'd to Ubuntu last week. He tells me that the difference is big, and that he enjoys Ubuntu more then he enjoyed Vista. Bad thing is... I still want the DX10 =/.

Got a question for you guys here.
You guys using OS other than Windows, is it hard to find programs for your OS?
How do you deal with it if the program you want to use does not have the version that is supported for your OSs?
