Why does Greenzap keep taking money out of my checking account when I told them in February I DIDN'T want anything to do with that program. Now I'm being charged a $30.00 overdraft fee b/c I didn't expect/want GreenZap to take money out of my account. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I feel you. I cannot say if they are a scam but they surely are crooks in my book. They mislead information for $100 gold membership and never delivered on what was proposed. WEBCASH totally useless. Now they are operating with more options and then taking money from the account of your original sign-up information.
I wanted to send you PM but it is not working
If you do not mind, post what the automatic withdraw info was for the transaction. I had a 1-800 number but did not save it after I found out about the transaction and reconcilled my account. Was there one for your transaction when they took the money? Thanks.

Alan,
Call your financial institution and have them to stop the automatic drafts to Greenzap. Also, they maybe able to help you recover the money that you didn't authorize Greenzap to draft from your account.
In the future, I suggest that you don't let anyone draft your account instead do the transfers yourself.
I don't let anyone draft my account not even the bank itself. One reason among many is because I know when I want to pay and when I want to stop or delay payment

Here is a number direct to the President Damon Westmoreland. I hope you can solve your problem you are having with the Draft. 858-335-7335 to Damon. Also here is the number to Lindsey in Customer Service.858-453-6188. If I can provide anymore info for you, just let me know. I am only a member but have these numbers to them. The only problem I have ever had with them is their slowness to get it all done. Others say these terrible stories. But never have seen them surface. I am supoened to go to court and Testify soon in Novemeber at a SEC session. I will follow up on that only here with RC.

I agree with Chris' suggestion too. Get an immediate halt through the entity where your card or account nr is affiliated with ASAP!!!
Some forms had to be filled out but thats a formailty and once they review it they will confirm with you on the actions taken to protect your account. Be also prepared to be informed that your card may be completely become inactive resulting in a new card issued...yes, another waiting period...sigh!

O.K. folks. . . . here it is. I spoke with a very nice lady named Roebeana. She iformed me that she will send the money back to my checking account plus the overdraft fee. When I logged into my GreenZao account I could see that she had started on it right away. Now I just have to wait to see it show back up in my account. I'll be sure to update you folks.

I am glad it will work out for you. As I said before alot of people say this and say that. Exspecially at Scam.com which has cause alot of the issues that are all false at greenzap with Investigation on worng doings. I will agree that greenzap has been very slow with coming together. But I am telling you that they are trying to do it right and I believe they will be one of the top Procceessors in the world when it is all done. I mean they now have 500 million a month billing credit approval from Banks now. Growing pains do hurt. You just needed the right contact to get thru. They have always taken cared of people I have sent to them with problems or just went thru the right channels. That is nolonger needed with new and improved Customer Service. Again I am glad you are getting this worked thru.
