Everything Starts at home. It is just the cost and sacrafice it takes to achieve most of this convienances. Yes it is hard, I am very quilty of not doing them myself. When our Boat comes in, you will see a different neno. It is just sad I use the term "when our boat come in", in order to do it.
The upfront cost of going Green is just so high for the average person in my Opinion. Sure in time it will all come down. But again it all Starts at home with us Individualy.
At the DayJob, we just can never figure who is buying all these Automobiles. I mean we can clean the rail yards up in our area in a week, of lets say, 5000 vehicles. then the very next Monday here we go again (for 20 years). My area just covers about 200 mile ratios of Dallas/Ftw and these vehicles are not cheap. Heck a fully loaded Navigator will cost around $60,000.00+ and a Nice 3/4 tom Ford truck with the bells and whistles is another $50,000.00+, and the reason is, aslong as people keep buying them, they will continue to keep putting them out.
