At least a little of the Pips spirit
For Everwiser and Jaytee,
The original Pips forum (I'm aware that this is not it) would probably have squashed many of your hard and unfeeling rebukes for those who have suffered losses.
You must remember that there are many who have not ventured out too far into the "investment" foray. Some of these have listened to family, friends, co-workers, etc... who drew them into this with the only intention of blessing those around them. Some of these may be known as "the shirt off your back" kind of people. Not necessarily financial wizards, but good people, people that you could trust with almost anything. The first venture out into the financial "hyip" arena was set out on with these most trusted individuals.
For whatever reasons (many of which I feel could have been anticipated and dealt with befo*****d) these hurting people find themselves nursing feelings of abandonement and betrayal, your further stinging remarks are not going to lead them into a brighter day.
You may find yourself speaking from a platform built on many other financial successes, as I'm sure that(thank God) many of us enjoy and that is great.
To stand from that viewpoint and look down your nose at those who do not have that same advantage is unfair and uncalled for.
We have all made mistakes concerning decisions we have made. We have all had to endure the resulting "monday-morning quarterbacks" who told us in great detail the many flaws in our playbook, coordination, communication and application with all the necessary follow-through.
I believe that you two would fall into the mmq category just now and it can get to a point where you really start to look like the "bad guys".
Please do not continue to demean the character or intelligence level of these people who are hurting and frustrated. Either help them, pray for them, or leave them alone and go to another thread.
You might also try taking some B-complex to help settle your nerves and relax you a little.
Hopefully we'll all do better in 2006
I only averaged about 33% on investments in 2005
Let's keep it light with the ancipation of the real deal coming back soon.
NO FLAMING NECESSARY
May His best be yours in 2006
