I recommend trying this.. for a blessing...go out and serve without money...
tell someone who is shy or insecure that they look nice  and smile.
look around, there are people trying... struggling with something, you can tell by looking, if you just watch, that they are low in self confidence & self esteem... give a word of encouragement... and a smile  ... bring a homeless person that old blanket you were thinking about tossing out, and don't forget to throw in a smile.. it will mean the world to them... don't know where to find a homeless person? It doesn't take much... usually just a quick look around...
maybe all of this sounds stupid... or unreasonable...?
But I will guarantee it will make you feel good... and you will want to do more... then you will see the purpose of God's money (not the need)
anyway... this is what works for me... and I am as poor as a church mouse ... and totally and incredibly happy!!!
and here's a smile for you my friend  I hope your day is happy.

Part of my frustration is that I (and I know many others) had so many wonderful plans of helping others with the money we were going to get. I have to remind myself that in a sense God "allowed" the present situation, it's just that not only was my money invested in some of those "dreams", but my heart was too.
yes... I have to think that the God who created this universe... laughs at 'our' money :tongue:Quote:

He'll do the rest.
Amen To Both Of Your Posts.
Beautiful thoughts from the heart. I "amen" to your remarks, second mouse, and understand the post of whatever. This forum had spawned some of the best values of life and thinking that the mind can conceive; simple with innocent honesty yet pure and noble like a breath of fresh air.
Life presents risks and challenges and the outcome depends on how we manage and overcome them as life teaching tools until the desired outcome
is met successfully. Unless we understand this, peace and joy of life would be elusive for life itself is a risk and the biggest risk taker of all is JesusChrist for He risked His Life that we may live.
When one had finally arrived and recognized of his/her calling or purpose of life on earth, infinite wisdom and knowledge will be abundantly presented on the way. Success and failure will come hand in hand but if one has a mindset
of focusing to overcome until the end, victory will be assured.
In the meantime for each passing day, let us enjoy life and be thankful of the things that we are blessed today no matter how simple and humble they may be for the good Lord sees the heart for He wants to bless us more
abundantly in His perfect timing and when we are worthy and ready to receive them. Let's try also to be a blessing to others in return for we will find rewards of peace and joy in doing so. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow
may not come and Now is the Day to make a difference to bring loving
memories and strength to overcome for the days to come.
thank you skylark.... and thank you for the wonderful post....:tongue:Quote:

Don't want to get too deep here O_M, suffice to say (speaking only for myself) that if one believes in the reality of a supreme, Almighty being who is all knowing, all present and all powerful (let's call him/it/her God) then God probably has no need for or use for money... Again, for me I have my personal beliefs and I don't come to this forum to discuss them. I really just want to know the truth about pips and where all the money is, but that's just me.Quote:
