Any CEO of a major company, especially one that is being investigated has legal counsel. They would suggest that any communication be done through them. If the information is important they would know what to do with it.
Just a thought.
Food for thought! Just because someone is inquiring does not mean anyone has to respond! Don't take council from your fears. No one has to answer anything if they do not want to!!!!!!!!!!!! You have the right to remain silent! You have the right to ask them questions or send them a questionnaire, i.e What they intend to do with your answers? Why do they ask? Who will they be sharing your answers with? Will they be kept confidential, etc., etc. Come on - use your heads! You have the right -to not respond and not to answer any questions. You have the right not to even accept the letter. It ceases to amaze me how naive people can be at times. You have the right to just ignore it.
THe best response to this letter -- Especially if there is a request to answer questions and as long as it is not a legal summons -- would be to return a copy of the letter togrther with one of the petitions being drawn up stating that the member was satisfied with Bryans management of the company and supported PIPS and request that BOM come to a speedy conclusion to the investigation that will let Bryan continue with the humanitarian wrk that he started and state that this as all you know about the situation and can answer no further questions.
If we can get everyone that gets a letter to respond the same then for us it would be like circling the wagons -- sure everyone has seen this in the old western movies -- when the Indians were comming the wagons was used to form the fighting circle.
I don't think that way Robert,
This is Malaysia and as far as I know you have to attend to these summons. Your best off to speak the truth without telling them to hurry up etc. Just answer questions without being negative seems the best to me.
Always easy to tell someone else what to say or do ...... we don't have to sit there ....
To tell the truth based on one's conscience is the best. Do not consult with a lawyer to prepare an answer. A technicality will not influence the investigator. What you feel in your in the bottom of heart about Bryan and PIPS is most important and will have an influence on the investigator who is also a human.
