Gee, ya think I'll get an answer?
Here's a copy if my 9-9-05 email to IB:
Mr. Murphy,
Just read your email and I want to try to get you to understand my point of view on this matter.
If I were to pay the $10 per mo. to maintain my membership, I would be paying $197.50 for my first year.
I paid with PayPal in May of this year, joined GDI under the impression that I would receive some downline and that didn't happen. I sent my link in for the rotator and believe that since you got 498 new sign-ups just this week that the rotator must have cycled once by now and still I see no addition to my downline. I'm just having a hard time seeing the "value" of which you so often speak. Still, I am willing to give you chance to show
me more than words and taking my $117.50 in REAL MONEY and dropping me after 4 months. I also would like you to know that, before today, I never heard any of the explanation of the "contingency" about which you spoke.
I also don't remember anything to that effect on the sign-up page.
Here are some suggested ways of providing a fair resolution:
1) Credit me the remainder of my first year. This would cost you nothing.
2) Send me a refund for the last four months at $10 per mo. and credit me the remainder toward
monthly dues. This would a cost a little less but, would be a hassle.
3) I proceed with the chargeback that has been initiated for the full amount.
I would prefer the first option as I would like to remain a supportive member and in the GDI rotator and see if something does come from it.
In the interest of fairness, I am open to any suggestions you may have.
Sincerely,
XXXXXXX
So, are you all laughing?
