I have always wanted to go to the Carribean. Would love to party on the beach. We can have bonfires, and lots of singing and dancing and drinking!:drinkbudd   :drinkbudd
JAMACIA!!

Let's buy OUR OWN Carribean Island!! Just Joking...(kind-of!)
I love the Islands! Mustn't be during hurricane season though! Supposed to be another nasty one.
Many beautiful resorts to pick from too! Lots have all you can eat and drink packages...with GORGEOUS SUITES!
:banana::party::banana::party::banana::party::bana na:
i like portugal or the caribbean. I have been to the caribbean and what is not to like!!!!! I would like to go to portugal or Australia, but I can do that anytime.. since this is supposed to be party, YOU NEED SUN, nice sand, and water, and waiters bringing you drinks!!!...i say the CARIBBEAN BABY!!!!
Hmmm, kinda split, could be a week in Baghdad, lol.
First I was going to vote for Portugal or Spain because it is kind of close to here so the airfare is cheap...then I though about voting for Thailand because I loved Malaysia, and even though the plane tickets cost more, the living expenses are very cheap... And then it hit me - I WON'T HAVE TO CONSIDER THE PRICE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be able to afford wherever!!!!
Being so used to being broke, I still think in the "old way"
And I LOVE the sun...so I vote for the Caribbean or Thailand (because I like the thought of Thailand anyway, EVEN if it is cheap!!! LOL
Karin
Fancy Portugal, never been before and it's not too far.
This rate we might have to do 1 per year, see it as a kinda reunion, OK?
It has to be St Kitts in the west indies all the way
You can all come over to my moms house.
She may charge an entrance fee say 1000 dinars
1000 dinars? that pre peg or post peg?! lol. St Kitts does look lovely though......Quote:

Interesting,
I will vote for each, for we should all get together once every couple of months to not only have a blast while tipping a few back, but also to discuss our other investment strategies. (g) Together we could make this into our own little investment club and with all the great people here, this could be a blast to watch our money grow while having fun doing it.
I am all for Portugal as Adam can be our tour guide. I am in the Caribbean all the time, and love it. Many of the islands are out of hurricane path, so nothing to worry about. So many great islands, and St. Kitts is one of them, I agree. Price of travel or resort will not be an issue, so I am for hitting them all. LOL
Good luck to all, Mike
Well I have never been here and Have alot of freinds here, so I would like to see them too. But since I baarly got in "You Guys Decied".
I was going to vote Thailand as it's the most awesome place that I've ever been to, plus I love Malaysia so I could pop down and see some people there (not BM in case you're wondering!).
BUT, with a 7-month old I don't fancy a 14-hour flight, so I'll be happy anywhere in Europe. Portugal sounds good as I haven't been there before.
Let's go "Island Hopping"!:party::drinkbudd:party::woohoo::party::b anana:Quote:

A couple of DAYS?!? Better ask them for a couple of WEEKS! :biggrin:Quote:

Anyway, sorry for my proud ramblings:smile: ...

Yes we do Karin! Brag away! ;-)

Thank you Adster for the PMs and your valued advice.

Definitely can't do the long flight with my kids either, they are almost 9 yrs old, 5 years old, and a 3 year old. But I plan on leaving my kids with my mom for a well deserved vacation with my husband! Then we should be rested enough to take the kids somewhere that they want to go!Quote:

The rest, are good too but with lots of security and "checks" taking place... I know its not every one's easy access nor privilege to go to many of those countries without the hassles anticipated.
I like that link to the Cayman Islands... am a Starwood member too and it is s comfort to be one when lodging at any of the wide ranging Starwood Chains... Sheratons are a superb choice like I recently had in Malaysia.

ha ha bob, keg of water 4 me maybe

somewhere in the carribeans...where i can feel the soft white sands under my toes.....lol...and the pretty crystal clear blue water.....and all the malibu rum and pineapple juice u can drink....lol...thats where we need to go....GO DINARS...Pat
Well I just turned 26 in May so if anyone can beat that, I would say that I will be the youngest retiree here at the dinar club  . Oh and when I say retiree, I mean that I WILL quit my job and concentrate on more good solid investments that WILL actually pay off along with purchasing some real estate (buy low sell high). So in a way I will still be doing some 'work' if you call it that to keep making an income for the rest of my life but I will actually be HAPPY instead of working at some fackin' (I stole your word adam hope you don't mind mate!) job killing myself with these darn 50+++ hour weeks LOL. Can you all tell that I REALLY REALLY REALLY want those dinars to peg soooooon lol.Quote:

St. Kitts sounds interesting. My first, VERY worst hangover was on rum, and I still can't bear the smell of it, 30 some odd, (very odd...) years later. I'm gussing they have some nice beers there?Quote:

Now, with these critter babies aside for a song and with that teevee added...they won't miss ya one sec! But...here's another bonus, send ya kids in there and add that lactose free lolly ice cream to the diet treat... and you can all party down at the Bahamas...
Great going and solution with your Dinars, doggies and diehard screaming kiddos you have with you...

WASHINGTON (AFP) - Washingtonians can now drop their pooches off at a pet hotel that cares for their friendly canines in a five-star environment -- pet-themed television shows optional.
In the mahogany paneled lobby of the PetSmart PetHotel, which just opened in the Washington suburb of Bethesda, the pets' human "parents" line up to plunk down 23 dollars plus tax for each night their pooch stays.
The doggie hotel is nothing like kennels of yore: in this inn there is lactose-free ice cream, indoor recreation, and for 10 more dollars a night, pooch can stay in a roomier "suite" with a television set showing an "animal related movie all day," said Vince Malanaphy, who manages the Bethesda PetsHotel.
"It helps them to relax and to adjust as they are used to hearing TV at home," Malanaphy says.
In one "suite" a little white poodle named Bijou is lost in the embrace of Morpheus with "Little Nemo" and his cartoon friends swimming by in an eternal loop on the TV set.
A stay at "Doggie Day Camp" without the overnight goes for 20 dollars the day.
Half of the boarders come every day. "It's better than leaving them at home alone," said Cyra, one of the pet "mothers," as she drops off her Labrador and her poodle for Day Camp before running off to the office. Here "they can socialize," she said.
For potty breaks there is a 20 square meter (215 square foot) "relief room" complete with a plastic tree. "For security reasons, no outdoor walking," says Malanaphy.
Meredith, in charge of animal recreation, says that if dogs "are aggressive or play too rough, we give them a time out in a cage" for 15 minutes. "After twice, they get the message," she says.
The Bethesda site has room for 180 dogs and 26 cats. Cats stay in plexiglass cages known as "kitty cottages" for a mere 14 dollars plus tax a night, which includes 15 minutes of TLC -- Tender Loving Care, otherwise known as petting.
