:new: Hi all,
I’m the latest IIF refugee. Thanks for the link DayDreamer, I’ve been here since yesterday but been busy reading all the old posts. Great info, awesome camaraderie!
Thanks Mods, I looked for the intro thread but couldn't find one.
This is a post from IIF from a person that is a contractor over there
"I truly believe its a great investment, but if the Iraqi Goverment issue its people 10,000 dinars at the current rate where in for a long haul. So let's wait and see what they do next week..."
I agree with him, If not before then we have to wait for a long time
Thanks to All of you for sharing the great news.
I am on for today or tomorrow. Reval the currency for these poor iraqi's and give them back a life.
We have to wait but we are so close!
I like your positive thinking but I have often wondered if it doesn't r/v this week/month, with Iraqis getting their 10k of dinar, spending it all on daily essentials, then all of a sudden a few days later, or a few weeks later, the r/v hits, won't that drive the average Iraqis bonkers with the govt? :wigged: I fear rioting in the streets to such a degree as we haven't seen before. This will lead to the dems taking over both houses in congress and Baker's plan to pull out of Iraq and or replace the existing govt with a new one which imo will set everything way back for the Iraqis and us. :wigged: The whole thing is avoidable if they just r/v their currency and give the everyday Iraqis something to live for then they won't be in such a hurry to blow each other up. imo:fryingpan:fryingpan
I realize there are those on this forum that don't like reading posts like this but at least it is honest and relavant to all of the news posted here. I have been with this forum (the dinar part) since the spring of this year, been through numberous predictions with dates set and then missed. I am in no way critical of these posters for they all meant (mean) well but we are getting to the end of the end of this imo. It is now crunching time. :fryingpan They need to r/v this thing and quit facking around imo.:fryingpan

Folks, I have a really hard time thinking about any kind of Reavlue of thier currency after reading an artical like this one !! It's getting wrost not better ...who and how are they going to get things under control....what good is it going to be to put money in thier pockets if they can't go out and spend it .....:nono: ..........:help:
I even have a hard time talking about making money at this time...and up to now thats hasn't been a problem with me..but now things do look really bad .....I just hope they can somhow bring things back ...Looks to me like all hell is about to break out !!!!
This is from an artical dated Oct. 16th.... thats pretty recent if you ask me ??? I am very pro Dinar and reavaling..however the Fighting is not letting up and getting worst...and it'
s true Maliki has not been able to stop it ...or even slow it down ..if you have info showing differnt please show me :)
Remember Oldskier, that article was from someone that is anti-Maliki. I'm sure the US won't let this happen just yet. Maybe down the road after the elections, but at this point the Republicans need good news so I'm sure we will have some shortly.
I have not posed for a few days now and have been trying to discern all the threads running the course: however I was contacted by one of my coworkers over in Iraq whom still maintains contact with both people we work with and some that he had made acquaintances with. From his sources and I have no reason to disbelieve him becaue I made the acquaintance of his source on several occasions we are within 2 weeks which makes sense to me due to them handing out the 10K dinar at the end of Ramadan.
Sounds like this train should be pulling into the station any time now. Woot Woooooot.
Yeah just in time to get blown up !!!! what are you thinking ???? do you really think in the middle of whats going on there ...things are just going to become happy by revauing thier currency ????
Oldskier did you just pop over from IIF without reading every page of this news thread? I think you should also read the last 40 or so pages of the last news thread. If you really want to get depressed there is a newsite often quoted on rense.com I think its called ureknetinfo or something like that . It spouts anti Maaliki anti American pro insurgency articles every day-ITS JUST A POINT OF VIEW!!
I belive we will get there also !!! ..but am really concerned right now about things ...wish I could be so positive as some folks on here and belive it will revalue ....when ever a new artical comes out !! lol.....:yak:   :leader: :woohoo:
Oldskiier, I know that you've been in this awhile like the rest of us, so I'm going to ask you 1 question. Have you never noticed how the doom and gloom articles come out right before the good articles come out? One day doom, one day good. For example, everyone was down Thursday because of doom articles and lo and behold good articles followed on Friday. So many good things are happening over there, just try to remember that who ever is getting interviewed, that's their opinion.
I hear budy, this is most definitely not the place to be negitive... and I'm usaly not..just whatched alot of news this morning and then this artical...and seeing no stoping "at all" to the fighting just makes ya got to think somthing has to be done !!! and soon or we are all in for a long wait !!!!:wigged:  I just love the banana .......
You may want to take a look at the author of this article. She is the foreign correspondant for the UK Sunday Times. From what I can tell, an anti-war journalist. There is a definate agenda here-take it with a grain of salt.
Anybody can write anything.
Too much good news and the lefties have to piss on the parade. :nunu:
