Bond Auction

U.S. January IBD/TIPP Economic Optimism Index: 51.9 versus 45.8 in December.

MBA Mortgage Applications:
U.S. MBA Refinance Index rose 4.9% at 2,219.2; Last Week 2,115.4; U.S. MBA Purchase Index fell 3.7% at 192.4; Last Week 199.8; U.S. MBA Market Index rose 2.2% at 482.7; Last Week 472.1.

Import Price Index (MoM):
U.S. December Petroleum Import Prices rose 3.9%; U.S. December Non-Petroleum Import Prices rose 0.4%; U.S. December Import Prices rose 1.1%; Compared to Consensus of an increase by 1.2%.

Crude Oil Inventories as reported by DOE:
