What do you look for in a broker?

Firstly a broker must be registered with the regulating authorities of the country he operates in. Then I would look for quality of service, trading platform he offers,reputation in the market etc. Also whether he offers segregated accounts where the clients funds are held.

The broker must be regulated and other traders must have had consistent, positive experiences with the broker.

Well all you need to select a broker which suits your trading style for an example I always look for scalping and not all the brokers allow to use scalping strategies so I chose a broker which allows me to scalp...

It all depends on which country you are in. But in my opinion, the main global CFD brokers are FreshForex, CMC Markets, City Index, and FOREX.com. They are all regulated in multiple jurisdictions, have powerful platforms, and offer MT4.

For forex brokers, there are indeed many options available nowadays, and it's up to the trader to choose a broker that suits their trading style and needs. I myself have chosen Tickmill, and here I can carry out my trading to the fullest.
