Secondly, advantages of the induces in comparison with “common” currency pair are as follows: the index more clearly represents the current situation on Forex than any particular currency pair, index, in general, is a derivative financial instrument, which means that it is not that much influenced by other currencies, hence, an index reveals the real dynamics of the basic financial instrument, viz. currency; indices have proved to be more effective financial instruments – that allows traders make more profit at a time.
